Contratto wins "Wine of the Year Award"
The Contratto estate of Canelli, Piedmont has won a singular honor from the Gambero Rosso, Italy's most prestigious wine review. The Asti "de Miranda" 2000 was selected as the white wine of the year. This unique Asti is the only Asti produced in the world with the champenoise method of fermentation. Contratto controls the finest Moscato vineyards in the region and the finest grapes from those vineyards are selected for the Asti "de Miranda." Congratulations to Carlo and Antonella Bocchino, owners of this wondrous estate.
